The Rules
A credit/debit card is required to be on file for all patients at the time they schedule an appointment.
A same day cancellation will result in a 100% charge of the appointment fee. This must be paid before the patient can schedule another session.
If a patient has not arrived by 15 minutes into their appointment start time, the patient is considered a no call/no show. Their massage will be cancelled and the card on file will be charged.
If a patient does give notice that they will be late, that time will be taken out of their session at the therapist’s discretion and per scheduling needs.
While there will usually be a reminder text or email, this is a courtesy and the lack of a reminder notification does not invalidate the cancellation or tardy policy.
505 Medical Massage has the right to stop a session at any time or refuse to give a session to anyone.
Harassment or solicitation will not be tolerated. If such an incident occurs, the offender will leave immediately and still be responsible for paying 505 Medical Massage for their appointment time. If it's appropriate, legal action will be taken in response.
A patient must be clear and honest about all medical history, so their therapist can make safe decisions regarding their session. If a patient cannot communicate their medical history in English, they are welcome to bring a translator with them for their session.
A patient is always responsible for voicing their boundaries and/or concerns. Anything from pressure, technique, room temperature, or music can be changed at any time, providing business ethics/rules can still be followed.
The medical intake form must be filled out in its entirety prior to the treatment starting.
If a patient requires assistance dressing/undressing or getting on/off the massage table, they must bring a caregiver to assist them with these tasks. This is per the New Mexico Massage Therapy Board rules.
A patient must wait until the therapist is no longer in the room to remove articles of clothing and must wait until the therapist has left the room after the session to stand up from the massage table. This is per the New Mexico Massage Therapy Board rules.
